Eso has uploaded an epic 3+ hour long video of ranty goodness. Jusat to give you an idea of how incoherant and rambly the video is, the first 10 minutes is just him saying that he’s going to say something, that something will get into his personal life, and that the audio of that something might be bad. Takes him 10 minutes to say that.
I cannot be bothered to consume this entire thing because it’s so overly verbose, self-indulgent, incoherent, and is a stream-of-consciousness clusterfuck. I’ve dissected many of Mars Volta albums in my day and not willing to do it again unless the music is good.
But we do hear about how he left home and was in a drive-by shooting. He claims he pretended to be dead to survive. But he doesn’t tell the full story. A friend who he was staying with said the reason why they were shot at was that Eso wanted to play Terry A. Davis and Francis E. Dec audio files in their car and was saying the n-bomb himself.
PROTIP: If you’re ever in a dangerous part of town, try not to use racial epithets unless you want some danger.
